Garden waste collection and taking to dumps

I don't think Southwark will pick up your garden waste for free unless it's in the brown paper compostible bags so I'd guess you'd need to find a private waste disposal firm if that's not the case.

If you have transport then you can take them to the Devon Street Recycling centre if you live in Southwark - ID is required.

    • A raptor shot into my back garden for a wood pigeon, which managed to get away before it was grabbed. It was very fast and the hawk was smaller than I’d thought it would be, with mid- and dark-brown feathers. Kite?
