Garden waste collection and taking to dumps

Does anyone collect dump to take to the dumps? I have about 20 garden bags of waste to be taken to the dumps.

if your garden waste is in the brown paper bags, this will be collected with the normal recycling

And if it's not in the brown bags? Is there a dump that anyone can take any rubbish/green waste to? Or picked up?

I don't think Southwark will pick up your garden waste for free unless it's in the brown paper compostible bags so I'd guess you'd need to find a private waste disposal firm if that's not the case.

If you have transport then you can take them to the Devon Street Recycling centre if you live in Southwark - ID is required.

Your best bet is hiring a small company to do the job, you should be able to get it done fairly cheap.

You could try with http://www.londonwasteclearance.org.uk/. They also claim to dispose it in an environmentally friendly manner.

Not sure if you're still looking for someone to do this type of work, but these guys http://wasteclearancelondon.co.uk/ seem to collect all types of waste, garden included. Might give them a call and check the pricing.

Does anyone know if southwark recycling centre will take garden rubble such as soil, old bricks, stones etc??

we have around 20 sacs in our garden.
