I am looking for some extra help between the hours of 4-7.00pm Monday/Wednesday and Thursday. i have just had my 3rd child and am looking for help with children when they get back from school, cooking their tea, helping with laundry and ironing and giving my elder two boys a bath, they are 4/2 yrs. We live in between brixton and herne hill next to brockwell park, we would like to find someone who is good natured energetic and fun! Please let me know if this might interest you, Polly

  Couple of likely lads knocking doors earlier this evening, claiming to be from ‘rehabilitation project’ and trying to sell cleaning kit to raise money to get into a hostel. Not really putting much effort into trying to hide that they casing local houses around the library area. So be it, be aware. But my question is what to do in such circumstances. Should I contact police - who? how? - or the council or something? Would appreciate advice.
