I went to Dulwuch park today to find that the lovely cafe is being refurbished, they have a temporary tea hut outside serving drinks, cakes & sandwiches, does anyone know if these people will be taking the cafe over? They wasn't friendly actually I stood there waiting for a while to be served even though I was first in the que, & where before you could buy a coffee & a sandwich for less than a fiver your now looking at about £8 what a complete rip off.

You can get a hot drink and sandwich for less than £5 at the bread of Life Café in Christ Church Barry Road.

Yep, same people operating the van will be running the cafe (they've also taken over running of Peckham Rye park cafe)

What a shame we used the cafe for many years it was a pleasant place to eat with lovely people,I found the new people quite rude no thank you and kept us waiting before we were served.

Prices jumped when they took over late last year. I thought the new selection of hot and cold food was limited as well. I haven't been back in ages.

Does the PR café still sell beer? Was a handy spot for a nice cold beer with kids in tow.

Sounds like a Pret nearby would do well.
