Hi

I am looking for someone who can sand our hallway floorboards, we have previously done the larger rooms ourselves however our hallway is narrow and angled I feel we need the professionals in for this one!

Thanks in advance

Angelo Hardwood Flooring in Peckham would be worth a try. They're a family-run business and I've always found them to be honest and helpful - we've had two fittings from them and they have us loads of advice when we were doing up our flat. Invaluable for green first-timers as we were. I originally called them when my partner and I DIYed our floor sanding (never again!) and while they said they were happy to finish the job for us, we'd already done the hard bit and we could finish it ourselves for much cheaper rather then getting them to redo the whole thing. They then gave us advice on how to finish the job. I appreciated that honesty and got them back when we carpeted other parts of the flat, and they're great about working within budgets. If we ever decide to sand more floors I will definitely get them in. The google link to their business is here, other reviews are good too. https://g.co/kgs/JNBcbw

    • That is clearly not true. I see car drivers breaking the law on an hourly basis - jumping red lights, speeding, not obeying the general rules. Plus they are operating considerably more dangerous machinery and should have a greater responsibility of care to other road uses. You can see who causes the most harm by the stats.

    • A quick Google found this, amongst other things: "Social impact models are frameworks or approaches that guide how organizations or initiatives address social or environmental problems."
    • "If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck then it must be a duck" comes to mind Unfortunately, a large number of cyclists do exhibit selfish amd anti social behaviour which, regardless of how many good cyclists there are, is seen as the norm.  It's a bit like one car driver jumping a red light and all car drivers getting tarred by the same brush. Perception is the issue and if cyclists all obeyed the rules, everyone would be less anti them but unfortunately that isn't the case 🤔
