Miele fridge/ freezer door seal/ temperature problems

Hi - Please be careful ? When seals get old on a fridge/freezer they leak air ? The motor works for longer [my not cut-out] and this is said to be the main cause for fridge/freezer fires ? 2nd from top of fires in homes. If you can ? contact seller. Regards.

Bought it 2nd hand few years back from the forum. So not sure if they'd be able to help. But thanks worth a try.
