Christmas cake

I know that it is early but... I am trying to see if anyone has found somewhere that makes a good Christmas cake. I find that most shop-bought ones are very dry. Doesn't seem to matter whether they are from a supermarket or from independent bakeries. Perhaps one of the local markets...? Any thoughts appreciated!

None will taste and probably look as good as one which you have made yourself. This way you will not encounter gritty currants, mixed peel, wafer thin marzipan and rock hard icing. Nor will you need an axe.
