Hi Katie, I am looking for a piano teacher for my daughter who is 10. She has a basic grasp of piano. Weekdays after school would be great at our house? When are you available and how much do you charge?

Look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you

Helen Cross

Hi Katie

I am interested in piano lessons for my 12 year old son. He took Grade 3 about 2 years ago and I am keen for him to continue. He finished lessons at school in December as being taken out of class and missing playtime didn't really work out. He doesn't want to give up and thinks if he was to have lessons at home it would be better. He has been sight reading only in lessons for a year and not working towards grades. Do you visit homes? we live in Dulwich Village.

Thanks

Susan

Dear katie

I am looking for a sax teacher for my daughter - she is 10 and a complete beginner. She could do mons, tues or fri after school. Do you have any times available and if so how much do you charge?

Best wishes

Hello Katie,

My daughter Rebecca aged 9 has expressed an interest in playing the flute. She has had a few piano lessons in the past, but didn't take to it, but enthusiastically sings in the St Johns and St Clements choir.

Would you be interested in giving her flute lessons? Where are you based? How much do you charge?

sincerely,

Peter Cooper

    • I'm basing it on 20+ years cycling in London and seeing the absolute biggest rule-breakers being my fellow cyclists. I once stopped at a zebra crossing to let a man cross and a cyclist behind me called me a putain for stopping.  I've even witnessed a grown man aggressively ringing his bell and swearing at a four year old child for not getting out of his way.... on a footpath.... in Burgess Park.  I genuinely cannot remember the last time a cyclist stopped for me at a pedestrian crossing.  They give the rest of us cyclists and bad name and turn the traffic against us.
    • Sorry to hear and glad you and hopefully bike OK and doesn't put you off cycling. Please do inform the police even if that sounds a waste of time.  Do consider going to the Motor Insurance Bureau, the slush fund set up by insurers for untraced/uninsured motorists.
