Andy the Plumber - great Stuff

Recommended Posts

I want to recommend Andy the plumber also (07983688451).

23rd April, had a badly blocked sink all weekend, could not get it to unblock, no matter what we did. Called Andy in the morning, booked a time of 3pm same day.

Blocked sink - no longer, and normal life resumed in Lordship Lane.

Thanks Andy much appreciated

I'd like to second that- Andy came over at short notice and mended our leaking bath- took him longer than expected due to sorting out the previous plumbers bad workmanship but he was really careful to make sure everything was done right, didn't charge any extra and put up with my nosy toddler interrupting him!

Thanks Andy!

I'll third that - had a dodgy leaking show causing a fair bit of damage, called Andy and he came round in a couple of hours. Was very friendly, diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly, and at a good price. Would definitely use Andy again.

Have been meaning to post again re Andy - had an emergency at my rental flat hrs before new tenants due and he was round within 1 hr of me calling him (in the evening) and was a very reasonable price. He's definitely my no. one choice of plumber in the area.

Another shout out for Andy. He came out to us tonight within an hour of calling (a Friday night at 7pm), fixed the problem there are then, gave advice and tips, was knowledgeable, friendly and reasonably priced. Would thoroughly recommend him and we would definitely use him again. Thank you Andy.

And another! He came to sort out a leak in our flat and redo something a plumber from a big company buggered up a month ago (at literally 8 times the price of Andy!!) He was really reasonably priced, really cheerful, quick, helpful, and now I am running out of adjectives.

Andy just finished fixing our toilet which had a super slow flush re-fill. Explained the problem, tried to rectify without buy extra parts, failing that he quickly popped out to purchase the faulty bit and fixed the toilet. Flushes like a dream!

Friendly, quick and very reasonably priced. Will def use Andy again!

I would like to add to this list. I needed a plumber to disconnect / recoonect my washing machine and plumped for Andy after reading these recommendations. Of course nothing is ever easy and Andy resolved the issues with ease and explaining why too. I would definitely use Andy again and his prices are very good.

Another recommendation for Andy from us. We had a case of a leaky radiator valve and andy popped by on a Sunday and did a quick fix so that we could ensure no more water dripping through ceilings and hot water again! A thoroughly nice chap who took the time to explain what the problem was and how to solve. Would be happy to use him again. E and A

Another recommendation for Andy. I texted him at 06:00 this morning and he came round at 14:00 promptly to fix a leaking cistern. He did the job very quickly and efficiently and was very friendly and helpful (also sorted out a leaking gutter pipe whilst waiting for me to answer the door!). No fuss, no bother - will definitely use again.

All you said is true! I had an emergency (water leaking through ceiling of dining room, with bathroom upstairs) this morning, called Andy, and he came round within 45 minutes! He was extremely knowledgable and solved the problem in no time at all. He is a BIG thumbs up!

    • Option 1.  Let them go bust.  Government takes over, until an appropriate solution found.  This happens with failing train operating companies  Option 2.  Anyone who made money on the privatisation, or their immediate descendants, bail them out  Obviously the latter isn't going to happen but makes me feel better/superior. What do you reckon?  Big picture.  Small picture as I posted elsewhere is that they were good when we had a leaking main.  And of course mass redundancies need to be avoided.
    • Hi my mum has a lovely frenchi Teo   he needs to be walked , as mum (80) is a bit fragile . he is a lovely dog , a bit nervous when around other dogs . Mum lives in Rast Dulwich . how much do you charge ?
    • Plenty for sale online from various ticket vendors but you'll need to part with £250 and upwards by the looks of it. Out of interest i kept an eye on the prices for the England and Italy Euro final. At one point they were on offer for a couple of grand each. On the day sellers were obviously getting itchy feet and prices dropped somewhat but never went any lower than £400. That was a few hours before kick off. There was plenty still available half an hour before kick off.   Having been to Wembley a couple of times for play off finals i found it to be not a great place to watch football. Sat three rows back from the pitch side advertising hoardings for one game and way way up in the gods for the other. We felt to far away from the pitch on both occasions. Up in the goods was just stupid because we felt cut off as well.  I don't think it was rebuilt with acoustics in mind either. Even with most of our 25k fans singing it never sounded loud because it's pretty much uncovered and too open.   Happy hunting!
    • It doesn't work as a commercial venture.  Bit churlish to say I told you so.  I told you so.  I'll send less greetings cards.  What pees me off is international postage where you can no longer send light letters at 10 grammes, normal ones up to 20g, now all at the much more expensive 100 g  Didn't we vote to take back control and price everything according to irrational units like ounces? That's some obscure humour btw
