brightsue
Just been past Somerfield ( mid morning, Monday) and there are notices saying that due to unforseen circs they are closed until further notice. Anybody know why?

kristymac1
Odd, I was in there this morning around 10ish and everything seemed normal - they have had bother in the past with flooding/leaks - could be that I suppose........

Louisa
A band of protesting yummies have climbed onto the roof with placards demanding that M&S buy this store, I understand two senior figures from M&S hq have been requested by the met to help calm the situation down and are on route to ED as I type.Louisa. SteveT
I went in about 8:30 and a bucket on the floor by the first till, was catching drips from above.Maybe the health and safety crew closed them down, for fear of someone drowning;-)
AcedOut
I thought for a minute they'd found a whistler and/or tramp in a freezer compartment. Is Iceland still trading today!?

SimonM
>>A band of protesting yummies have climbed onto the roof with placards demanding that M&S buy this store<<Not a terribly credible explanation.....they'd not be doing any climbing, not in those shoes. They'd get the nannies to do it.B)
Peckhamgatecrasher
Talking of the roof of Somerfield (or it could be Iceland - I'm not quite awake yet) - what's with the serious looking equipment? Is it the ED branch of GCHQ?

LibraCarr
Hi,I have been in the store on the last two evenings, they were selling reduced chilled food from a trolley that is not chilled, this contravenes the health and hygeine act. I have spoken to the management and the head office in Bristol on many occasions about this problem and the educating of current staff, yet this still goes on, Perhaps it is time for the store to close before we have a epidemic in East Dulwich.Regards,Libra Carr.
