Underhill Rd closed - junction of Barry rd 4pm -now open

Road taped off ,ambulance and police in attendance .

Must have been bad as air ambulance arrived at the park bottom of Barry Road. :-((

Underhill Rd is now open at Barry Rd; I don't know about Friern Rd end. Was it an RTA? I only ask as I hate turning on to Barry Rd from Underhill or walking near that junction as there have been a few accidents there over the past decade.

Came by there about 3.00pm. Man lying on pavement think he was telling paramedics couldn't move legs.There was a car with a damaged offside front wing close by and a P.C. looking at a parked vehicle also with a damaged offside front wing, near the junction Underhill/Friern. Hope he's OK, at least he was speaking to paramedics and not unconscious. Heard another P.C. saying to another "see if the junction's any good". Think he meant the Air Ambulance as it came over a couple of minutes later. Perhaps a single vehicle RTC.

Gosh poor man, whatever has happened, it'll have been an awful shock. Hope he's okay and at least he'll be in good hands!!
