Any bonfires?

I know there are various fireworks displays going on, but wondered if anywhere was doing a good old fashioned bonfire too?

We took kids to Brockwell Park last year but to be honest, it was very overcrowded, rowdy and generally unpleasant.

Used to love the Dulwich Sports Club bonfire.

Deeply disappointed last year when, instead of everyone being able to stand around it, the fire was well fenced off down the end of the field. Bit pointless as a bonfire. Health and safety I guess.

Think its quite thoughtful myself. a five-hour stretch is a long time for anyone to run a bonfire event: the younger ones get the chance to enjoy and run around before school's out and it gets dark and older ones the chance to enjoy later.
