Best way to get to Charing Cross Hospital from ED?

If you don't mind a bit of a walk, overground from Peckham Rye or Denmark Hill to West Brompton (change at Clapham Junction) and it's a shade over a mile from there. Alternatively from West Brompton take the District to Earl's Court and the Piccadilly to Baron's Court (about five minutes) from where it's a quarter of a mile walk through the Margravine cemetery to the rear of the hospital.

Rosetta, which side do you live? If you are near Barry Road or Peckham Rye Common you could take the 12, and pick up the 211 which comes from Waterloo, up Victoria Street and along the Kings Road and stops outside Charing Cross Hospital.

It isn't as though you have to be there for 9am and you get to see some sights. I change buses at St Thomas's Hospital, on the bridge, its an easy streamlined journey then, as it's an anxious enough time without worrying about journeying.

I did this route and had a beautiful walk through the Margravine Cemetery which takes you through to the hospital.
