No, they don't, unfortunately. The High Court allowed a Judicial Review of the decision not to allow some Gurkhas to settle. The government must now review the case of the individuals in question, but is still allowed to come to the same view, provided they come to the decision `properly.'


Still, the case generated publicity, and the government will be trying to work out if it can still justify not giving them passports. If Jonanna Lumley does what she plans, and gets her 1 million or 2 millon signatures to deliver to Downing Street, one would hope somebody will take note.

Thanks for the kind words, monday I collected 100 signatures. But on Tuesday I did read that this had been resolved? I will try and get some more info and if this is not, I will carry on collecting signatures. 1000 was going to be my target, but as a Gurkha,s/or widows pension works out about ?240 a year maybe I will try for 2400 signatures.
