Some years back, I can't remember the exact details but a journalist wrote an article basically dissing East Dulwich, and had clearly not even made it as far from the station as Lordship Lane :))


I'm sure someone on here will remember better than me!

Cant be the case this time - the article had photos of people working in Mons, which is new, and what I believe to be current staff in Palmerston and Moxons (with the cinema clearly visible in the background)

Angharad - If I were a rapacious landlord (and I'm not a landlord at all!) then I would try to increase rents just a little less than would cause my tenant to move out. So it's possible that, while your rents have been increasing each year, if you moved out then the landlord would have to lower rents to re-let it.

Not the case... have been in three separate flats in Dulwich, all with yearly rent rises.


After moving out of one flat, it went up by several hundred quid a month for the new tenants... then the same with the other flat... who then had to lower their price back a little to get new tenants in...
