Anyone get an Adam neate ?

I scoured LL , given that a famous -ish Urban artist now resides here - but found only mounds of cig butts and vomit - well done black cherry once more, another valuable contribution to the area - ED bar of the year anyone ?

I didn't get one, but then I didn't look, even though I mentally put it on Ebay and spent the proceeds.

I got one. It's an image of a downcast person on a background that's nice and blue, with hefty staples on the left hand side, wrapped in thin polythene and numbered on the back. I found it at Bush House in Aldwych. It is now framed in a inexpensive Habitat frame, adorning my wall. Any ideas of how much it is worth, money wise? (I know Antiques Roadshow has already had its first million pound find, so I am realistic.)

Really? Gosh. Are they all the same image, with different colours? BTW, when I saw it, I didn't know what it was. It had a postage/frank machine mark on it, so I thought it was some lost mail. Does Neate live near here, or was Snorky referring to someone else?

I think Snorky was referring to Gormley.

There are about four on ebay at the mo, ranging from 400 to 600 hundrish. There was a limited run of 1000, all are signed and all were shrink wrapped. Don't remove the wrapping if you want to flog it. Different colours.

I didn't remove the polythene. You can't see it anyway now that it is in a frame. Well, I'm impressed at the value, but I am not going to flog it.

That is so refreshing to hear. While I would have no qualms flogging it cos I'm broke, I really do hope that the majority of them go to art lovers who won't be selling.
