young all black cat with tartan/red collar- lost ?

A young ,smallish, black cat has suddenly appeared in our back garden.

We are middle of Barry Rd ,near The Elms Nursing Home.

Hope he's not lost....

Have you seen this thread in one of the other forums? Sounds like others have seen him too.

It could have been Marlowe who lives at our neighbours on Friern Road which backs onto Barry Road - but then again I've just seen him trying to jump into my car so I don't think he looked lost.

I really don't like cats but my kids have almost, very nearly, convinced me to like Marlowe - but I'm fighting it hard.
