Andrew MacKinnon, Candy MacKinnon and others in ED?

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know of an Andrew MacKinnon or a Candy MacKinnon in the area? We moved into our flat on Peckham Rye about 9 months ago and get loads of post for them, all quite official looking stuff that I would've thought should've been changed or updated by now. We've been returning to sender up until now but getting fed up with that as it just keeps on coming! Candy appears to be Andy's daughter.

Also, anyone know an Emily R Jenkins or Mr Allan McAteer? We've had post for them too.

Any clues appreciated

I'm sure Candy MacKinnon was part of the Andy Warhol Factory scene in the late sixties.

If memory serves she was going to be one of AW's 'superstars' but it didn't quite work out.

I'll get back to you on Jenkins and McAteer. I think they might have 'form'.

In the meantime, keep 'em peeled.

Spot on there Muley, any name that has an implied question mark is top hole.

Wish I could think of some to illustrate the point, or make up a few to raise some chortles.

No, well never mind. Perhaps a more trad approch.

A man walks into a bar.

He has a steering wheel protruding from the groin area of his trousers.

NB. AT THIS STAGE THE GENTLEMAN IN QUESTION IS GIVING NO IMPRESSION THAT HE IS AWARE OF SAID STEERING WHEEL.

The fellow, that is the man with the steering wheel protruding from his trouser area, requests of the barkeep a pint of 'lager'.

The barkeep makes the most ludicrous enquiry possible, i.e., 'Do you know there is a steering wheel hanging out of your 'flies''?

The fellow in question is sanguine and demotic in his response of "I know, It's driving me nuts"
