WW2 Airplane in Dog Kennel Hill (during WW2)

Does anyone remember or know about an airplane that came down at the top of Dog Kennel Hill during WW2? It was in the grounds of a large building in Champion Hill, which we knew as Green Lane for some reason. I never found out if it was one of ours or how it came to be there.

I believe Green Lane is what we call these days Greendale - cycle and pedestrian path from East Dulwich Grove to Champion Hill.
