More dangerous roadworks

I notice that the roadworks causing problems at Goose Green last week have been sorted out within 48 hours to minimise delays to the public ... good news. The bad news being that they were a total waste of money with the zebra crossing being "re-marked" about a centimetre from where it was previously. Genius.

One question ... why ??
