East Dulwich to Reading

I'm going to a conference in Reading (at the Football stadium)on Monday 15th, I have to be there at 11am,

What is the best way to go by Train, any ideas?

Yes, it was a thread I started

I toyed with getting a train fromForest Hill to L Bridge then tube to Paddington

or bus from Camberwell to Paddington

but in the end I drove, left at 715 and was there by 9.30, it was quicker than any of the public transport options

I make the journey to Reading 2 or 3 times a week. Not fun. East Dulwich to London Bridge (12 mins). Jubilee line to Baker Street then Bakerloo to Paddington (really easy platform swap at Baker St.) (+25 mins)

Paddington to Reading is 30 mins, one stop.

a little bit off but we went from herne hill/elephant to farringdon, then the tube round to paddington and then train. less than 1.5 hours.( 8.47 from herne hill etc etc)

185 to Vauxhall Station, Any train to Clapham Junction, then its platform 4 I think @Cl.Junction for a direct train

Simple- no central involved- reckon it'd take two hours if you time it right.

no.37 bus to Clapham Junction- then train to Reading. Done Deal.
