Christmas Craft Workshops coming soon!

There are some exciting workshops taking place at the new community development The Artworks in Elephant & Castle to get you into the crafty Christmas spirit! There are three different types based on bookbinding, working with fabric and decorating home-baked cookies


Each workshop is run twice a day on a Thursday (for those at work or on a late night shopping mission) and at the weekend. Perfect to squeeze some craft into your lunch break, an after work treat, or join in at the weekend and take some time to explore The Artworks community.


All workshops are 45 minutes long with materials included. Free hot drinks (or grab yourself a glass of wine from the newly opened Longwave bar in the courtyard) and festive treats are provided too...all for the bargain price of ?8.00

    • "If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck then it must be a duck" comes to mind Unfortunately, a large number of cyclists do exhibit selfish amd anti social behaviour which, regardless of how many good cyclists there are, is seen as the norm.  It's a bit like one car driver jumping a red light and all car drivers getting tarred by the same brush. Perception is the issue and if cyclists all obeyed the rules, everyone would be less anti them but unfortunately that isn't the case 🤔

    • Saying cyclists are the most antisocial people in London isn't helpful.  Nor is the Standard referring to cyclists as lycra clad louts  Yes we can have an adult conversation.  But emotive knee jerk nonsense is not going to achieve this and just plays into the hands of those wanting a manufactured culture war
