?Munch was a wanderer. He had the ability to tuck himself away, to blend, chameleon-like, into his surroundings where he could silently observe...?

Inspired by Nikolai Astrup, Dulwich Picture Gallery is celebrating all things Scandi this Spring.

Join author Lisa Stromme for a look at her debut novel, "The Strawberry Girl", bringing to life the tumultuous love affair that inspired Astrup?s more famous Norwegian contemporary, Edvard Munch, to paint The Scream, one of the most famous paintings of all time, in a vivid bewitching story of innocence, creativity and desire. Alex Clark, literary journalist and Scandi-phile, will interview Lisa about the book.

?I loved Lisa Stromme?s confident, pared-back style the moment I started reading ? and the second my colleagues finished we were all googling flights to Norway.? Clare Farmer, Publishing Director, Chatto and Windus

Signed copies of The Strawberry Girl will be available to buy.

In partnership with Chatto & Windus, an imprint of Penguin Random House.
