Family-friendly supper club - Indonesian street food - 19 Nov - Space at 61, Cheltenham Road

Recommended Posts

Join us for our very first family-friendly supper club on 19 November!

Obviously families (and people of all ages) are always welcome at any of our events, but as parents of young children ourselves we know that things like timings, babysitters, space to roam, and child-friendly food options can make or break a meal out.

So we'll be hosting lunch at 12 & dinner at 5, with highchairs, baby change facilities, a toy area and a pretty relaxed attitude to everything else. All that we ask is that you book your ticket in advance.

On the menu for grown ups: flash-fried mullet with our fiery sambal, beef sate with our spicy peanut sauce, a crunchy tofu & vegetable salad, rice and crackers, followed by sweet fried plantain with palm sugar, coconut and lime. ?15, including a beer, wine or lime and mango spritzer.

For little people: beef sate with a sweet soy sauce, fish skewer with a tamarind glaze, veggie sticks and rice, followed by sweet fried plantain with palm sugar, coconut and lime. ?7, including a lime and mango fizz.

To buy tickets go to our website: www.kakilima.co.uk/supper-clubs/. We?ve had loads of interest in this already so get in there quick if you'd like to come!

Our lovely friends from ingreedies.com will also be there with colouring activities, copies of their amazing book and time to chat about all things relating to getting kids excited about food.

Drop me a line if you want to know more or follow us on instagram, twitter or facebook (@kakilimalondon) for more updates.

Hope to see some of you there!
