Screening of 'Public House' at East Dulwich Picturehouse - Sunday 6.30pm

Recommended Posts

Public House, the film about local pub The Ivy House, will be screened at East Dulwich Picturehouse this Sunday at 6.30pm. Many of the local community cast and performers will be there to take part in a Q&A with Director Sarah Turner after the film.

For those of you who've seen the Festival cut of the film, this is a new version, now touring to Picturehouses around London and the UK.

'Public House tells the story of the Ivy House Pub in Peckham. Slated to be sold to property developers in 2012, the local community triumphantly came together to save the pub from closure. This documentary is an inspirational story of social resilience and the power of communities working together'
