MUDDY BOOTS Children's Outdoor Nature Group every Monday and Friday 10-11.30am at Devonshire Road Nature Reserve. Drop in sessions, no need to book ahead.

This Monday 3rd July its DRAGONFLIES and DAMSELFLIES. We'll be learning about these lovely insects and looking for them around our pond and we'll make a dragonfly each to take home. In the garden and Reserve meadows we'll continue spotting other insects including the butterflies and bees we've learnt about over the last few weeks.

Another chance also to see the tadpoles which very nearly fully transformed into tiny toadlets. Come and see these perfectly formed but mini toads!

As always at Muddy Boots there's digging, watering and mud painting on offer too. Then we'll have a walk in the woods (distance to suit your child) and head back to the Meadow Basecamp for snacks and drinks, songs, stories or poems.

Muddy Boots is hands on, engaging, fun and all outside in the fresh air of our lovely Nature Reserve.

Sessions run every Monday and Friday 10-11.30. They are drop in sessions, so no need to book ahead, just turn up on the day.

Meet up at the big green iron Reserve gates on Devonshire Road (opposite Tyson road) at 10am. There is on-street parking on Devonshire Road and Tyson Road.

Prices: It's ?7 per child, ?10 for 2 siblings, child-minded children discount available.

Recommended for children 14m upwards, but younger can try too. Siblings under 14m go free
