18/10 The Atlas of Beauty: Signing and Photography Exhibition by Mihaela Noroc

Recommended Posts

Four years ago, Mihaela Noroc left her life in Romania and set off around the world with her camera. She has been travelling ever since, and thanks to her photos of women, taken in nearly every country around the world, she is now a social media sensation, with her photo blog attracting over one and a half million followers.

?I realized that the women of our planet need much more attention, and that true beauty is more than what we see in the media. After a while, the Atlas of Beauty took off on social media and millions of people were looking at my photos, and my email inbox filled up with messages from around the world. Some people thanked me, saying that I changed their way of looking at women? ? Mihaela Noroc

The Atlas of Beauty is Mihaela?s beautiful new book, featuring portraits of 500 women, taken in all 5 continents.

For the Dulwich Literary Festival we are putting on an exhibition of Mihaela?s photography, free to the public, over the weekend of 10 ? 12th November: http://dulwichliteraryfestival.co.uk/events-2017/the-atlas-of-beauty-photographs-by-mihaela-noroc/

    • Can't help thinking that regardless of whether Joe wanted to be interviewed, the 'story' that Southwark News wanted to write just got a lot less interesting with 'tyre shop replaced with ... tyre shop'!
    • Labour are proposing to nationalise the railways, (passenger trains but not fright)  Whilst it removes them from shareholders control, and potential profit chasing, is it workable or will it end up costing tax payers more in the long run?  On paper the idea is interesting but does it also need the profitable freight arm included to help reduce fares,?
    • Another recommendation here for Jason.  He came to plaster over a section of ceiling that we had to remove in order to investigate a leak.  He is a really lovely guy, easy to get in touch with and great communication.  He was quick, tidy and competitively priced.  Very happy and I'd have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone.
