Youth Platform x Marc Bauer

In a partnership with Frieze Projects London Youth Platform x Marc Bauer takes the form of large-scale displays across London from 14 September to 12 November. Developed through a series of workshops they explore the complex relationship between personal identity, gender politics and place.

The project transforms an empty shop front in the Aylesham shopping centre with a multimedia installation; video, moving image and a wall to ceiling collage showcasing the artworks created by members of the Youth Platform with Bauer.

Inspired by his time with the group Bauer has created an extensive wall-drawing to occupy the Frieze fair?s entrance corridor. The installation is part of Frieze Projects, the non-profit programme of new artist commissions at Frieze London.

The Aylesham Centre installation launches as part of Peckham Festival 2017 and will also be on show throughout the Frieze art fair.
