The Kids clay Workshop made some frog pots this week which were hopping good fun! Come and join us for a project in clay, we make something different every week. Aimed at ages 3-5 years (2 year old siblings welcome). Kids may need grown up help in patches! ?7.70 per child & ?7 for siblings (or ?7 & ?6 for siblings). Mondays 10.30?11.20am, East Dulwich Community Centre,

46?50 Darrell Road, SE22 9NL.

Fridays 10.30 ? 11.20am NB: NEW VENUE!

St Clements & St Peters Church Hall, off Barry Road, SE22 0HW (it's halfway up Barry Rd, up a little gravel road) entrance opposite Silvester Road and beside Graham Court flats. There is a small car park, and buses 12 & 197 go this way.

  Hi everyone, I'm in the process of purchasing a flat in East Dulwich - 2 bed victorian conversion. It's a leasehold flat owned by Southwark Council. We've already had a few things come up in the purchasing process that has spooked us - for example S20 notice for a huge maintenance/repair cost bill which has now been dropped. So we are keen to do a bit more fact-finding on the leaseholder-freeholder experience. It would be great to know of people's experience owning a leasehold flat - and how often you are billed for unforeseen maintenance/repair costs. It would also be good to know if anybody has any experience buying the freehold from Southwark Council? Thanks!
