Bellenden Big Lunch

10th Anniversary!

SUNDAY, June 24th 2018

Its our annual chance to share food with neighbours and have fun together. Its a fantastic way to meet people and connect. Bellenden Road between Avondale Rise & Oxenford Street will be closed to traffic from 11am until 9pm.

Everyone in the Bellenden area is invited to come along ? eat, mingle, meet, play music, enjoy.

Things we have on the roster so far:

- some music

- bakeoff

- a few kids games

If you are a local musician and would like to play a set, please get in touch! Or if you want to organise any activities -- (dance, art, face painting, plant swap etc...)

  Hi everyone, I'm in the process of purchasing a flat in East Dulwich - 2 bed victorian conversion. It's a leasehold flat owned by Southwark Council. We've already had a few things come up in the purchasing process that has spooked us - for example S20 notice for a huge maintenance/repair cost bill which has now been dropped. So we are keen to do a bit more fact-finding on the leaseholder-freeholder experience. It would be great to know of people's experience owning a leasehold flat - and how often you are billed for unforeseen maintenance/repair costs. It would also be good to know if anybody has any experience buying the freehold from Southwark Council? Thanks!
