Recommended Posts

TUESDAY Muddy Boots 10-11.30am

Good for children from 14months upwards.

Drop in session, no need to book - this week is HEDGEHOGS!

Children's Outdoor Nature Group at Devonshire Road Nature Reserve. Sessions every Monday, Tuesday and Friday 10-11.30 term time. They are all drop in sessions so no need to book.

Can hedgehogs swim? What do they eat?

We'll be learning all about hedgehogs and making a small one from clay and sticks to take home.

Muddy Boots is hands-on, engaging, fun and all outside in the fresh air of our lovely Nature Reserve. As always there's digging, watering, exploring and mud painting to keep you busy in the garden. Then we'll have a walk in the woods (distance to suit your child) and head back to the Basecamp for snacks and drinks, songs, stories or poems.

Prices: It's ?8 per child, ?12 for 2 siblings, child-minded children discount available.

Recommended for children 14m upwards, but younger can try too. Siblings under 14m go free

Dress for the weather, its pretty dry in the Reserve at the mo. but shoes that don't matter if they get a bit grubby are better.

Meet up at the big green iron Reserve gates on Devonshire Road (opposite Tyson road) at 10am. There is on-street parking on Devonshire Road and Tyson Road. Please check the FB page MuddyBoots at Devonshire Road for session updates. Or text Holly on 07919 077198 to let me know you're coming.

Thanks!

Holly

    • Can't help thinking that regardless of whether Joe wanted to be interviewed, the 'story' that Southwark News wanted to write just got a lot less interesting with 'tyre shop replaced with ... tyre shop'!
    • Labour are proposing to nationalise the railways, (passenger trains but not fright)  Whilst it removes them from shareholders control, and potential profit chasing, is it workable or will it end up costing tax payers more in the long run?  On paper the idea is interesting but does it also need the profitable freight arm included to help reduce fares,?
    • Another recommendation here for Jason.  He came to plaster over a section of ceiling that we had to remove in order to investigate a leak.  He is a really lovely guy, easy to get in touch with and great communication.  He was quick, tidy and competitively priced.  Very happy and I'd have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone.
