longer sociable cycle ride Saturday June 30th (9.30am start)

Recommended Posts

This is a 5th Saturday ride so it starts earlier and goes further. It will end at 1pm so takes nearly twice as long as the usual Saturday rides. The pace is the usual stately style however and the although route will be about 16 miles it's mostly flat and on quiet streets or paths.

It will start and finish at Canada Water, in Deal Porter Square, next to Library and opposite the station, SE16 7AR. The plan is to ride to and explore London Fields and Victoria Park. The group will go out over Southwark Bridge, with a coffee stop in Victoria Park which has lovely lakeside tables.

The return will use Regents Canal towpath, through Limehouse and over Tower Bridge. Werner will be leading. Everyone is welcome. These rides are organised by Bruce Lynn on behalf of Southwark Cyclists which is the borough branch of the London Cycling Campaign. Everything we do is free. All comers welcome. You don't need to join anything or live anywhere. Text me on 07842 640 207 for re-assurance, confirmation etc.
