free bike maintenance August 16th 5.30-7.30pm

Mike, Andy, Bruno and Charlie make up the southwark cyclists Dr Bike team They do the straightforward stuff tightening brakes, indexing gears, pumping up tyres and giving wise advice (?That chain needs cleaning?) (?Do you ever check your tyres??). Embarrassing stuff like that. But what they really enjoy are problems. Something they can go into a huddle over. Bring your bike and see if you can catch them out.

They will be on quietway 1 at the Dunton Road/Lynton Road traffic lights for two hours from 5.30pm. Just across the junction from cafe Crol (see pic). Everything we do is free. Everyone is welcome, you don?t have to live anywhere or belong to anything. We are the borough branch of the London Cycling Campaign and this is just a bit of what we do.
