Police Community Event @ Goose Green 24th Aug (with Police Horses!)

The Police are holding a community engagement event on Goose Green at 11-2pm Friday 24th August.

This will be a fab opportunity for local residents to meet and speak with the Police about any local area crime concerns, as well as a great way to familiarise children with the Police - they may even get to sit in a van and try on a helmet!

The Police Mounted Branch (Police horses), Joint Enforcement Team, Traffic, and Public Order, and possibly dogs are due to attend along with our new Ward Police officers (from the Safer Neighbourhood Team).

Thanks for posting this, bels123... I love the Police Horses, so am glad to see that Goose Green is on the Met event map! Would be really impressed if we got the dogs (PDs) as well, plus I've heard rumours that the response motorbikes may also attend.

It's also a good chance to meet our new local Safer Neighbourhood Team and talk to them in person.

Hopefully loads of residents will show up!
