Peckham to Horniman Museum via Cemeteries and Parks

Meet up in Peckham Square at 10am between Peckham Library,and Peckham Pulse, SE15 5JR. This is a circular route returning to the square at 12 noon.

From the square up to Nunhead Cemetery the route runs up Rye Lane. Then via Peckham Rye Park to Camberwell Old Cemetery at the top (or near the top) of Forest Hill Road.

From there it's a short (flattish) run to the Horniman Museum where the group will make a brief stop. From the Horniman, we will head back to Camberwell New Cemetery accessing it from Brenchley Gardens, over the railway via Brockley Way and Eddystone Road and down to Brockley and Ladywell Cemetery.

We will follow the nice paths through Ladywell cemetery and exit close to Hilly Fields Park. If time permits we will climb Hilly Fields then return to Peckham via Brockley Station and Telegraph Hill.

The eagle-eyed will have noted several mentions of ?hill?, "climb" and "flattish". Fear not, nothing is too steep or too long. A small amount of walking may be desired, but there's time for that.
