I have two spaces left for a beginner's belly dance class on Saturday morning.
There are many health benefits of belly dancing; besides providing a fun, low-impact workout, the graceful movements of belly dance strengthen and tone the entire body, particularly the core muscles of the abdomen and back. Belly dancers develop balance, flexibility, suppleness and improved co-ordination, leading to better posture. And all this is done with gentle, natural movements which are safe for the joints.
