I'm asking for help to develop a deeper understanding of the needs and experiences of people who have concerns about weight and the confidence issues that causes. I'm sure the comment about lettuce and sit-ups wasn't meant as cruel, but this is exactly the kind of joking that makes people with weight issues want feel confused and embarrassed or even ashamed and self-loathing. It REALL:Y isn't as simple as that. It's a very complex problem for which there is no one simple answer.
