A stylish food bin that has an air tight seal so when closed it keeps food fresh. Its capacity is 54 litres and looks good enough to sit out in a kitchen or utility room.

I used it to store rice but have no space in new kitchen for it. It was mainly advertised for storing dry pet food (takes 15kg bags of dry cat/dog food) but can be used for any dry food that needs to be kept fresh like flour or rice. A similar non-stainless steel version can be seen on amaazon at https://www.amazon.co.uk/Curver-Pet-Food-Container-Litre/dp/B00FVV4M0W . The stainless steel one has gone out of stock but was bought for around ?50. It's still like new in perfect condition and less than a year old

  I don't think this picture shows fly-tipping as such, but more the result of over-flowing and unemptied bins. Still very nasty for children (anyone) to have to negotiate, but we're not talking mattresses or tyres or building waste here, I'd think. Which we have had locally at times.

  They are certainly persistent - they try to sell us it every time we walk up and down Lordship Lane - no matter if you told them no thank you three minutes earlier! Anyone else feel that sense of relief when you walk and see they have someone they are talking (invariably looking like they are trying to get away) allowing you to walk past without becoming their next sale target?
