Kitchen facilities needed for Crystal Palace fundraiser prep

The Picture Palace Campaign is being passionately fought in Crystal Palace and has massive local support in the area. We are working very hard to try and bring a cinema to our lovely suburb and you may be able to help. If you want to know more about this campaign, please visit our website - www.campaign.picture-palace.org

The latest fundraiser for the campaign takes place on 16 October at St John the Evangelist Church on Auckland Road, Upper Norwood and is going to be a great night for the community to come together, have some fun and raise money for this very worthwhile campaign. You can find more information about the event and buy tickets at the blog: sphinxdiningclub.wordpress.com

This event has special challenges in that we need quite a lot of the help and support for free and we have to find our way round big challenges. It is amazing the offers of help that we have received from local members of the community and things are coming together nicely. We also have great sponsors such as Hendrick's Gin, Sainsbury's, Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward and Joanna's restaurant.

However there is one rather large and important piece of the puzzle which has still to be found - we really need a well equipped large kitchen to prep the food for the 120 guests in. We would need kitchen facilities from 8am to 6pm on Friday 15 October and from 8am to 5pm on Saturday 16 October.

We would provide our own kitchen porters and ensure everything is cleaned and put back in place. Yun our head chef is a top end banqueting chef and is very experienced in running such events so she would be able to ensure
that all of this happens. Any costs associated with utilities and security we would, of course, cover.

We would of course be able to give you publicity as a supporter of the event and help you in reaching the local community here in Crystal Palace and the surrounding areas.

Looking forward to hearing from you if you can help - please contact Noreen on 07725 057453 or email noreen@lemonia.org - thanks!

We're looking to rent a space about the size of a small garage for furniture due to us relocating at the end of this month. The space would need to be waterproof and we'd need it for about 2 years. If anyone can help or know of anywhere that would be great. I'm also looking at companies such as Safe Store etc. Thanks
