Attaching photos

Hi, I am trying to attach a photo from my iPhone to my post about having a hamster cage for sale. It keeps not posting because the file is too large. Please can you tell me how to reduce the size of my photo?

Sorry, I know this is pretty basic, but I can't do it.

I had exactly the same problem (except that mine is a cage for guinea pigs etc). Someone has posted instructions on how to embed a photo at the beginning of the "For Sale" section of this forum. After a few false starts I managed to make it work (I think...)

If you Google "resize photo" there are lots of free websites where you can do this quickly and easily (you don't need an iPhone!)
