Either this season's results have been more predictable or last season's were harder to predict e.g. the Leicester factor, but the average winning weekly score last season was 7pts, which would be 196pts at this stage, just below the Cowboy...

Jah had a very good Saturday, 15pts from 7 games, only takes something like that and a bad week for me and the gap is closed...

Marcus bloody Rashford just cost me a couple of points. It's tough being a predictor.

Me too, it's not right wishing your team doesn't score another goal and then being miffed when they do...

What's worse is I had a bet that both teams would score, so I was hoping Sunderland would get a consolation.

Great score Jah, almost a 10/10. Did the Gooners let you down?
And what a difference getting a handful of correct scores makes, that's why it's still very much an open race.

Jah is hitting form with those correct results he wasn't getting earlier.

Just to check how good a lead you have Red, I looked back at this time last year (313 games gone)

Fox was leading with scores of 30 Results 116 Outcomes 167 Incorrect & 206 points. The eventual winner PD was 9 points behind and you were 10 behind. So I guess it's still an open race on the table. I'm worried though that I'm overthinking predictions now. Changing them regularly. The pressure is getting too much..........

Yep, we both said that Quids had been getting far more correct scores than normal and eventually it will balance out. I think the key is to aim to minimise incorrect results, and Jah has consistently been the lowest in that respect all season, so it was only a matter of time before the bit of luck you need for correct scores started going his way. Or is this all mind games?... smiling smiley

About time I starting getting those correct results. And yes RD, the sodding Gooners let me down. Had the result as 2-2. Not that I'm unhappy about that particular outcome.

Quids has found his mojo again! More disappointing was that Boro decided to score a goal last night. I thought they didn't do goals.
