Health and well-being support group for women

I thought Iíd see if thereís any interest out there in forming a group for women to meet and support each other in achieving goals in improved fitness, physical well-being, mental well-being and weight loss? My thinking is that there are proven benefits to working in a group to achieve goals like these, but the more prescriptive commercial groups like Weight Watchers and Slimming World just donít suit some people (me being one of them!). Iím imagining a group of, say, 10/15/20 women meeting once a week for a couple of hours, for mutual support and encouragement, ideas swapping, finding exercise buddies and so on - with the focus on improving all round physical health and happiness (weight loss being a definite aim but not the overarching focus of every discussion). I am female and middle aged, generally pretty cheerful and healthy but would like to get rid of some of the poundage that has joined me since I was 40.
