I think it can be worth attending if you have a specific project. A few years ago I got the exact shower our builder had recommended at half price in an offer at the exhibition. But I agree there is a lot of overpriced rubbish at these events.

That's true. I went a few years back in order to take advantage of an offer on the kitchen I wanted, can't remember the exact circumstances now.

But I found the rest of the exhibition so depressing :(
