Would you like to take up sailing this year?

I am a member of Hoo Ness Yacht Club based on the river Medway. It is a friendly, self help club and is one of the closest sailing bases from East Dulwich.

This weekend - Saturday March 2nd - a RYA Day Skipper Course is starting. If you are interested in a place please contact me via pm. The RYA VHF radio course and Essential Navigation and Seamanship course are also planned for this year.

On the Sunday club members will be gathering for a work party, looking after the clubhouse and grounds. It is a good time to visit the club, meet members and check out the facilities.

If you are new to sailing, the club arranges crewing with other members - you don't have to be a boat owner!
