Who do you think is setting these "lessons" you are "meant" to learn, then?

How are "you" bringing challenges into your life?

What exactly does "your life is for your growth" mean in practice?

When your car runs out of fuel late one night in the middle of nowhere (and if you make it back) you learn to fill the b****y thing up next time.

You quickly learn not to eat yellow or brown snow
