Park Lane to Parliament Square, London. 12pm, Saturday 19th October 2019 - London

'We will assemble on Park Lane, in London, on Saturday 19th October at 12 noon. We will then march through the heart of London to Parliament Square, where we will hear speeches from leading cross party politicians and celebrity voices who support a People?s Vote.'

'Why are we marching?

The march from Park Lane to Parliament will deliver a message loud and clear to the Government and MPs that they should trust the people, not Boris Johnson, to solve the Brexit crisis.

It follows a series of packed ?Let Us Be Heard? rallies in towns and cities across the UK this summer where people from all walks of life have demanded the right to a final say on Brexit.

This Brexit crisis has now come down to a simple question about whether we live in a democracy: can we allow Boris Johnson to force No Deal - or another vicious form of Brexit - on our country, without all of us having our voice heard?

The only way to break the deadlock in Parliament, legitimise the outcome and allow us all to talk about something else, is to give the people the final say.

Let Us Be Heard.'

'Saturday 19th October 2019 - London

PEOPLE'S VOTE MARCH - LET US BE HEARD

To avoid major disruption to Great Ormond Street Hospital's huge annual fundraiser we had to move our March to October 19.

This summer, the British people have the chance to force our way back into the final decision on Brexit. We are going on the offensive, with rallies in 15 towns and cities across the country, culminating with an enormous, historic march in London on October 19. Because it is now clear that this is a crisis that cannot be settled by a new prime minister or a deadlocked parliament. It can only be settled by us, the people.

Save the date. And let?s save the country.'

It happened on 23rd June 2016.

Are you saying that you don't support democracy and actually want a different outcome, otherwise called another referendum ,because the result of the first referendum can't be stomached? And just remind me how much Parliament has taken notice of you so far, none.

Country were told they could have a great, easy deal

I?m willing to believe you couldn?t give a shit and just want no deal uncleglen. But don?t you dare suggest it?s what most of the country voted for because that is straight up bullshit and even you know that

This paralysis of government won't be until Oct31 - It'll be for years and years whilst we talk/don't talk to the EU, accept/don't accept a WA/FTA, Negotiate with Trumps people and then possibly find Biden in charge etc etc.

Silly billy. If I remember soylent Green was based in a dystopian New York. If Remainers think they?ll grow two heads and have teeth like Bugs Bunny if they eat chlorinated chicken I cannot see the dictators of the EU allowing Soylent Green, no matter how cannibalistic your tendencies cat.

Leavers man

No one is complaining about chlorinated chicken because it will mutate us

It?s because the chlorine is required in USA because welfare standards for animals and workers are so bad. What you are saying is you don?t give a shit about either

Although food poisoning rates are much higher over there too

Fully support these people"s right to march for whatever they believe...but perhaps improve the slogan choice? :)

LET US BE HEARD????

This group of remainers haven't shut-up in 3 years, I don't think being heard is the problem! Maybe adjust message or demands slightly? as 'another' march demanding the same things seems unlikely to yield any different results from the previous 6 marches with the exact same message.

You remind me of Norman Tebbit talking about gay people in the 1980s.

And you remind me of someone unable to accept a crtical, but constructive, comment (whats wrong with suggesting a different approach to achieve the same goals?) without resorting to dog whistle association with something like homophobia. Grow up my friend.

Sorry you won't shut me up - I'll actually make an attempt to be even remainier and louder the more I'm told to shut up.

Good for you. If you actually read my comment as its written, instead of just assuming that in your wisdom you know what I 'really meant', then you'll find I have never said you should shut-up. I wish you the best of luck in your loudness.

Wow, you must have a PhD in 'Strawman theory'. 3 times now you've managed to make a tangential comment to highlight your 'perception' of the injustice of my comments. Rather than actually take as read the comments being made. I'm out. For the second time, best of luck.

  • 1 month later...

to be fair to 'you' you 'wasn't' asked a question with a proper answer in 2016 - leave doesn't mean leave as we can now clearly see

so unless you're saying in 2016 52% voted for the deal that Boris proposes today (they couldn't have) or that 52% really didn't care about any details (which seems clearly to be nonsense) then asking 'is this what you want?' is the only logical step

to stick to a 'brexit means brexit' mantra just makes people look stupid

    • Available from Monday April 8th 2024, 2on2Walkies take pride in doggie care and only walk 2 furry friends at a time. I make sure that they get plenty of doggie interaction and socialisation in the park as well as making friends. Back home happy and tired I always check that the water bowl has fresh water and always make sure the doggie is left comfortable before I leave. I'm fully insured and have a couple of slots available for local walks to either Peckham Rye Park or Dulwich Park.  Thank you!
