Hi there

Today at 4.30pm two people managed to get through our main door downstairs into the hallway of our flats.. And then attempted to get into flats upstairs.. Its old Victorian house.. Rubbish flimsy lock landlord doesn't care at all about our safety.

I called the police and gave details and I took photos.. They present well the female mixed race in 30s in navy suit and briefcase and male a black guy in a cap and brown blazer and jeans. Made out looking for a Sandra.. But there are just three flats here no Sandra. I imagine they were scanning seeing what's possible and passing info on.. Very scared will now know its a complete opportunist house to burgle

Just letting you know to be careful incase come across them knocking on your door or see them attempting this on street..

I know its not East dulwich but its close!

    • I think the concern is the mast being so close to a school as well?
    • There is a planning application to put a mobile phone mast at the top of Dog Kennel Hill.  Residents of Camberwell Grove and their friends in the Camberwell Society are fighting it - defacing their nice conservation area with ugly laminated posters!  They do not benefit from it as reception is fine on their side of the hill. https://planning.southwark.gov.uk/online-applications/applicationDetails.do?activeTab=makeComment&keyVal=S9IKT2KBN1200 I do not think there are any health hazards from being near phone masts (or at least they are negligible relative to everyday risks we all face).  Anyway, here is what the NHS has to say about them: https://111.wales.nhs.uk/encyclopaedia/m/article/mobilephonesafety/#Risks I imagine this will spark some lively debate!
    • Hi Laura, Thank you for your interest. I only walk 2 dogs at a time and your mum’s little one will be walking with my own 12 year old  Tibetan/poodle cross(send you her picture) and I charge £20 p/walk, pick up and drop. If it’s from Monday to Friday then we can talk and see what’s best for both of us. Sometimes if the weather is good we can stay at the park a bit longer than a hour…😊 I can only start the walks from Monday April 8th. Thank you, regards  M
