I knew it was a cryptic clue but somehow brain never got past PO box bit of address

but yes, addressing the dogs - very clever . MUSH

I used to do the Telegraph crossword years ago but haven't picked up a cryptic since then - brain is out of tune

Jonboy - this neocon bar.. it's very like the usual boho joint isn't it?

Man in black hat sidles in, walks to the right hand end of the bar. Checks the bar for choice - decides there's enough and orders a large malt whisky, drinks it straight, pays for it himself. Looks at left hand end of bar for someone to argue with.

Yep - Marmora Man just rode into town.

saunters in, tucking copy of Guardian deep into jacket pocket to avoid offense

eyes clientelle - a few familiar faces but there's a tweed jacket on the coat rack.

And several people are smoking - either the libertarians are flouting the laws or simply, there are no laws.

At the bar, looks at selection. 78 different beers. Free marketeering gone mad. Gadzooks. Theres a man who seems to know his own mind. Sidles up to MM and asks opinion on what to choose.

    • That is clearly not true. I see car drivers breaking the law on hourly basis - jumping red lights, speeding, not obeying the general rules. Plus they  are operating considerably more dangerous machinery and should have a greater responsibility of care to other road uses. You can see who causes the most harm by the stats.  Lucky car driver obey the rules the rules then. Oh wait.. https://amp.theguardian.com/uk-news/2023/jul/06/car-crashes-into-primary-school-in-south-london-wimbledon
    • Looking for a suit for an 11 year old. Quite specific, white with black thin stripes.  Trying to replicate Michael Jacksons smooth criminal costume.  A blue linen shirt and white tie.    Thank you !!!!!!!
    • A quick Google found this, amongst other things: "Social impact models are frameworks or approaches that guide how organizations or initiatives address social or environmental problems."
    • "If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck then it must be a duck" comes to mind Unfortunately, a large number of cyclists do exhibit selfish amd anti social behaviour which, regardless of how many good cyclists there are, is seen as the norm.  It's a bit like one car driver jumping a red light and all car drivers getting tarred by the same brush. Perception is the issue and if cyclists all obeyed the rules, everyone would be less anti them but unfortunately that isn't the case 🤔
