Hello South East-ers My boyfriend and I are looking for a 1 (or 2) bed flat under 1200 a month in these areas: Peckham Rye, East Dulwich, Nunhead, Forest Hill, Honor Oak, Herne Hill, Brixton, Denmark Hill. And if it has a garden even better! We are both professionals and are looking to rent a flat for 1 year plus from Mid June. Please feel free to email me if you have a flat that fits our criteria.   Couple of likely lads knocking doors earlier this evening, claiming to be from ‘rehabilitation project’ and trying to sell cleaning kit to raise money to get into a hostel. Not really putting much effort into trying to hide that they casing local houses around the library area. So be it, be aware. But my question is what to do in such circumstances. Should I contact police - who? how? - or the council or something? Would appreciate advice.
