Wanted: short term 1/2 bed flat to rent from August

Hello - I'm looking for a short-term let in the East Dulwich area for my parents who are moving back to the UK from overseas. They only need a 1 bed but happy to pay rent on a 2 bed if needs be. They are in their 60s, very responsible, happy to do gardening if needs be and looking for a furnished place from 1st August for at at least a month (although 2 or 3 months would be perfect).   Are your neighbours also smelling it? If not, I had a similar issue years ago and found it was down to an emersion heater element failing and putting strain on the wiring, which had to be replaced. Hopefully you can track it down.
